It’s a reap-what-you-sow world
The world is established by wisdom and governed by principles. There are laws that are true regardless of what we think or how we feel about them. Gravity is real, it’s a law of science that you can choose to disbelieve... but you will still fall. That’s how it works with the law of sowing and reaping. Someone once said, “Sow an act, reap a habit. Sow a habit, reap a character. Sow a character, reap a destiny.”

It’s the same way with these virtues... They are established principles, you don’t have to believe that unforgiveness will lead to bitterness, but it will play out that way whether you believe or not. SPEAKING OF BELIEF.... The power behind this card is TRUTH and the grace to implement the virtues here (like forgiveness) as a way of life comes from the Holy Spirit of God. You can see that these truths are real and decide to live out a “forgiving lifestyle” (for example) but run out of strength to actually live this way. He has given us His Spirit and to empower us to be able to consistently live this out.
