| OUR MISSION To connect and mobilize the body of Christ in a practical movement of prayer and grace-filled action that fills the entire region with the power and presence of God. OUR PURPOSE To facilitate, coordinate and provide inspirational leadership for an ever-growing transformation movement wherein the WHOLE CHURCH brings the WHOLE GOSPEL to the WHOLE REGION in order to “see to it no one misses the grace of God.” What we do; - lay down a foundation for transformation in the region - develop relational ties to community leadership, raise awareness of community needs and seek solutions in which God’s people can be instrumental - provide a strong middle ground where local believers can connect in heart and action in bringing Christ to the city together - foster connectivity and communication between local pastors and ministries (every Body needs connecting tissue!) - speak into the region-wide Church the vision of shepherding every lost sheep in the entire region - spearhead initiatives that serve the city and that draw the CHURCH into walking intentionally in it’s role in the city - cultivate lifestyles of prayer-evangelism and caring outreach - promote unity in the Body and strengthen the base of transformation - coordinate gatherings of worship, testimony, trainings and service teams that help like-hearted people connect and share in the work - host various groups of ‘marketplace ministers’ in order to encourage and equip for greater impact How will we know if we are being effective? We should see… - an ever-increasing company of intentional marketplace (HUB) ministers functioning daily in their natural surroundings, - a rising groundswell of public praise and worship gatherings of the united Body, - a noticeable jump in the number of “prayer encounters” all over the city, - improved connection and communication between local ministries (UNITY), - love being noticed by those outside the church, - salvations, advancement of the Kingdom, more lives focused on God’s purposes. - the increase of LIGHT and decrease of darkness in all streams of community life; Families-Business-Education-Government-Media (etc) |
