WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO TRANSFORM YOUR CAMPUS?

Good question.  Let me ask you this; what did it take to transform you?  ANSWER: Jesus on the inside.  It's not a formula, it's a person.  So, how do you transform your campus?  Get Jesus on the inside.

Invitation; there comes a moment, when you open the door and he comes in.  In our DVD series, “TRACKING WITH TRANSFORMATION,” this is what we refer to as component 3 - CHRIST IS CENTRAL.  Revelation 3 depicts Jesus standing and knocking at the door of a region (Laodicea).  Because this is one of the letters written to the 7 CHURCHES, we know that Jesus isn’t knocking on the door of those who DON’T know Him, but rather those who DO!  I believe He does this today; He stands at the door and knocks, calling out to the CHURCH in the region saying, “if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in....”  Any student, any educator, any teacher’s aide, any PE coach!  ANY ONE.  What if many ONES were opening the door in a variety of campus-related places and Jesus’ life was flowing in bringing peace and solving difficulties?  

When Jesus “knocked” at Zaccheus’ door, He was welcome in.  Jesus ate there, and before you know what’s up, Zaccheus makes a declaration that he wants to make restitution, and give back to people whom he may have cheated.  Things shifted rapidly without altar calls, sermonettes or offering taking!)

It’s amazing how ready God is to touch hearts, show His power in tough situations, heal hurts and make inroads for His ways to be embraced.  The tools he wants us to use are the following; PRAYER, WORDS OF PEACE AND BLESSING, LIFE-GIVING ATITUDES, HONOR, GRACE and a SENSITIVITY TO THE SPIRIT.  The adventure of doing this together with you is what exhilarates Him, He wants to come in, eat with you, fellowship, and be close WITH YOU.  In this way, you will be changed, and so will your school.
